Adam Nelsen has always been playing some type of instrument. He started off playing violin at
the tender age of four doing recitals and eventually moved into playing the saxophone in the
middle school. It wasn’t until the untimely death of Jerry Garcia that Adam was motivated to pick
up the guitar and learn how to play it. He quickly learned the lead nuisances and intricacies of
solo guitar playing, and in six months time was already an advanced player. This allowed Adam
to have many opportunities to play with other gifted musicians and develop in various band
scenarios over the last 15 years. In addition to playing with Touch, he has worked for the last ten
years with FreeVerse, in addition to other notable bands like The Fuzz, We are Here, Brent and
Adam Duo, and Red Cloud Caravan. Adam plays on a custom 1978 Gibson SG through a Fender
Twin Reverb Amp and uses a Line 6 M 13 Stomp box Modeler Multi Effects Pedal to achieve his
unique sound that expresses his one of a kind flavor. For more information on his band
